We’re Migrating the CFG Token

By Graham Nelson, Senior Product Manager, Centrifuge

Centrifuge V3 is moving entirely to Ethereum as a native EVM deployment, bringing full cross‑chain composability, modular fund structures, and a host of new features.

The migration was approved by the DAO via proposal CP149 and is the next confirmed milestone in Centrifuge’s roadmap.

To align governance and utility with the upgraded protocol, the existing Centrifuge governance token (CFG) and its ERC‑20 wrapper (WCFG) will be consolidated into a single ERC‑20 CFG token on Ethereum.

With a native token on Ethereum, CFG becomes simpler for users and stronger for the ecosystem. If you’re a current CFG holder, here’s what you need to know ahead of the migration.
