In just three simple steps, fund managers can seamlessly structure and launch their pools on our platform, with increased flexibility, control, and efficiency like never before.

This improvement aligns with our broader mission to provide fund managers a comprehensive onchain fund management solution, offering enhanced customization and effortless usability.

Step 1: Build a pool structure that works for you

At Centrifuge we provide full flexibility in structuring a pool, offering fund managers the freedom to design pools that work best for their goals and their investors.

• Pool structure: Choose Revolving pools or Static pools (coming soon) depending on the investment and redemption cycles.

• Tranche structures: In a feature unique to Centrifuge, fund managers can create multiple tranches within a single pool tailored to meet different risk profiles, timelines, and investor preferences.

• Pick any asset class: Unlock the flexibility to select any asset class to build your pool, denominated in USDC (multiple USD-pegged stablecoins coming soon).

Step 2: Provide comprehensive pool details

The Centrifuge platform offers fund managers the ability to include a comprehensive set of pool details, providing increased transparency to investors at every stage.

• Essential pool information: Specify critical details about the pool such as the pool strategy for composition, issuer information, if the pool is open or closed for investments, type of investors eligible to invest in the pool.

• Service providers: Add key service providers like fund administrators, custodians, auditors and oracle providers to highlight the partners closely involved in supporting the pool’s day to day operations.

• Pool rating and analysis: If applicable, fund managers can also add the pool’s rating or pool analysis data, which offers valuable insights into the pool’s performance, risk profile, and overall credibility.

Step 3: Decide how to manage the pool

Fund managers can easily configure the pool managers and pool delegates to operate the fund securely and efficiently.

• Pool managers: Assign the pool managers and if they want to use a single (one party can make decisions) or multi-sig (multiple parties need to sign off) setup for additional security.

• Pool delegates: Decide on the pool delegates who can perform specific actions within the pool (such as create the onchain assets or manage who can invest in the pool), providing additional flexibility in how the pool is managed by team members or third parties.

• Investor onboarding: Centrifuge offers three flexible ways to enable investors to onboard and invest in your pool: (i) our integrated onboarding process, (ii) link out to your third-party KYC/KYB provider and (iii) work directly with your fund admin to KYC/B investors and manually whitelist. Fund managers can choose the onboarding experience that aligns with their internal processes.

With the new streamlined process for pool creation, Centrifuge makes it easier than ever for fund managers to create, manage, and customize their pools.
