February 28, 2024 -  Centrifuge, the platform for onchain finance, today announced a range of news at the ETH Denver conference as it gears up for a momentous 2024.

Today, Centrifuge released The Future of the Stablecoin Market: Expert Opinions on How Stablecoins, Real-World Assets, and Onchain Capital Markets Will Continue to Evolve in collaboration with Nic Carter, Stephen Leahy and Mark Phillips. The report covers the functionality, design considerations and endgame for stablecoins. Centrifuge is the keynote speaker at today’s unStable Summit: RWAs and Stablecoins in Denver, presenting the integrated role RWAs play in the growth of stablecoins.

Additional news includes:

• Centrifuge becomes revenue generating: Protocol fees are going live on Centrifuge in order to ensure self-sustainability of the protocol. With projected TVL of $1B in 2024, $4M would be added to the Centrifuge treasury from protocol and Centrifuge Prime fees. Fees are used to fund future development and innovation of the protocol, governed by Centrifuge token holders.

• A New Partnership with Finoa: Finoa, a regulated crypto custodian, partnered with Centrifuge to enable customers to custody investments in real-world asset pools on Centrifuge's platform. This first-of-its-kind partnership aims to facilitate institutional adoption of blockchain-based asset management by combining secure custody services with RWA investment exposure.

• Continued Demand for Tokenized Treasuries: Gnosis DAO recently passed a vote to allocate $10M  into Anemoy's Liquid Treasury Fund via Centrifuge Prime, in an effort to diversify and improve yield. Gnosis joins Frax, Web3 Foundation and Aave.

• Industry Recognition: The TBW Awards, run by leading Web3 and crypto publication The Big Whale, has named Centrifuge the winner as the "Best Finance and Investment Project" for 2024. The event, which took place last week in Paris, recognized innovators in seven categories across technology, entertainment, and finance with winners selected by a distinguished jury of experts.

• Expanded Event Series: Centrifuge announced an expansion of its event series following the success of the inaugural RWA Summit that took place last fall. This event will now include a Summit Series around the world in 2024, taking place adjacent to major industry events. The Summit Series includes events in: Dubai on  April 17 (TOKEN2049), Austin, TX, on May 28 (Consensus), Brussels on July 9 (EthCC), Singapore on September 17 (TOKEN2049), and the flagship, standalone RWA Summit happening in New York City from October 22 to 23.

Centrifuge was also a leading player in the formation of the Tokenized Asset Coalition, which champions the adoption of public blockchains, asset tokenization, and institutional DeFi to alter the way capital is formed, invested, and managed on chain. The Tokenized Asset Coalition recently announced 15 new members including Ava Labs, Solana, Chainlink, ParaFi, and Maple.
